(C) You can only control 1 Grandmaster of the Six Samurai monster. (S) While you control a face-up Six Samurai monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. (1) When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect, add 1 Six Samurai monster from your GY to your hand.
The (C) Unclassified Effect functions as a Condition. It cannot be negated.

This effect activates & resolves in the GY / removed from play area.
This effect activates if your opponent's card effect destroys this card in your hand / field / Deck.
The (1) Trigger Effect will NOT ACTIVATE if:
your opponent uses your Royal Oppression to negate this card's built-in Special Summon.
the Continuous Effect of your other Six Samurai destroyed Grandmaster as a substitute.
The second effect of "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" targets 1 'Six Samurai' monster in your GY. If "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" is in your GY, it can target itself.
If "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" is destroyed by your opponent's card effect while in your hand or Deck, its effect activates.
If you Special Summon "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" and your opponent negates the Special Summon and destroys it with their "Royal Oppression", the effect of "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" activates. If your opponent uses the effect of your "Royal Oppression" to negate the Special Summon, the effect of "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" does not activate.
If your opponent activates an effect to destroy one of your 'Six Samurai' monsters and you use the effect of the 'Six Samurai' monster to destroy your "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai", the effect of "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" doesn't activate because it was destroyed by your 'Six Samurai' monster and not by your opponent's card effect.
[FORUM] If "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" is destroyed at the same time as other 'Six Samurai' monsters by your opponent's card effect, the effect of "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" will activate and can target one of the other 'Six Samurai' monsters destroyed at the same time.
